A explanation letter, better known as explanatory statement, is a document that serves to present a set of causes, reasons or preferences that help us to argue something or justify any activity that you want to carry out in the future. It is usually a text with clear and concise information, preferably brief, that gives the reader a clear and general idea about the subject matter. The writing of this type of letter can be done from a questionnaire previously established or, on the contrary, according to general guidelines that give the opportunity of freedom discursive. Its use is very common in academic or administrative procedures.

PRESENT

By means of the present I wish to express the reasons why I wish to study the Master in Cultural Communication of this prestigious and honorable University, as well as summarizing some of the research that I have carried out on the subject up to date.

In the first place, I am interested in entering this postgraduate degree for a personal taste since throughout my university studies, in the Bachelor of Social Anthropology of the Public School of Anthropological Sciences, I began to be interested in everything that had to do with museum work and the dissemination of anthropological knowledge in general.

I consider that cultural communication is a new and very fertile area for academic research and practical work that tries to solve problems that afflict us today. Therefore, I believe that my research proposal puts into debate some current issues that are very important in the development of this discipline in this country.

Finally, I have the experience and knowledge necessary to enter this prestigious postgraduate course. Since 1996 I have worked as social communication coordinator at the Museum of Indigenous Cultures of this city, in addition to that I have participated in some editorial and science dissemination projects in the institution of which I am graduated. I have also attended various courses, conferences, round tables, seminars and diplomas, of which I attach their respective vouchers, which have helped me in my professional training.
