    Scientific Text Example

    Writings   /   by admin   /   July 04, 2021

The cientific text (Scientific paper in English) is a clear and concise way of writing, it covers a wide variety of topics related to research in the various disciplines of knowledge. Thus, the use of specialized vocabulary and the formal tone in which it is written facilitate access to information and, consequently, its understanding.

A scientific article is a text of academic principles and character generally published in some specific journals.

    Characteristics of the scientific text:

    1. State the matter objectively.
    2. It is aimed at a specific audience.
    3. It has a clear language and with words of an academic or professional nature.
    4. The information exposed is verifiable and its sources are cited.
    5. It focuses on the main topic, without delving into related topics.
    6. It is brief.

    Parts of the scientific text:

    1. Title (should be short, concise and show what the work is about)
    2. Authorship and institutional affiliation (the name of the author and the institution, school or university to which it belongs)
    3. Summary (a short summary of what the job is about)
    4. instagram story viewer
    5. Keywords (the words that contain the main meaning to locate the work in the databases)
    6. Materials and methods (This part refers to the materials that were used; there is not always a direct section, they can be explained during the exhibition process)
    7. Results or conclusion (It is the presentation of the result according to the methods and materials used)
    8. Discussion (Here the work is compared with previous findings, and its contribution to rectify or expand previous findings)
    9. Acknowledgments (Thanks are expressed to the people who collaborated or provided information to carry out the work
    10. Bibliography and sources. (The consulted texts are cited)

It must be taken into account that in some scientific texts, such as those written for popular magazines, some of the cited parts are condensed into a single section, or Well, they are eliminated, such as the keyword sections, materials and methods (since they do not detail the research or are not experimental), the acknowledgments and sometimes bibliography.

    QUALIFICATION

    Pancreatic cancer.

By Dr. Víctor Heriberto Clemente Ferraes.

    INTRODUCTION

Pancreatic cancer is a cancer that affects a large number of inhabitants throughout the world, it is a very accelerated condition in its evolution.

Although it is detected at an early stage and the extent of the involvement is small, the prognosis is generally very poor, since survival is very low; few patients survive more than five years, and complete remission is extremely rare.

In tumors, more than 95% are adenocarcinomas, the remaining 5% are pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors such as insulinoma, the latter requires a different diagnosis than the previous one and its treatment allows a less prognosis discouraging.

KEYWORDS: Cancer, Endocrine, Diabetes, Tumors, Pancreas

    MATERIALS AND METHODS

Knowledge of its etiology and pancreatic carcinogenic mechanism. It is considered that it begins with the alteration of cells in the ducts of the pancreas, transforming and damaging the pancreas in three possible ways:

    1º Bile reflux.
    2nd Duodenal reflux.
    3rd blood route.

    RESULTS OR CONCLUSION

The main known risk factors for pancreatic cancer are:

    1.- Tobacco,
    2.- Alcohol and
    3.- Inheritance.

1.- Until now, tobacco is one of the main factors influencing pancreatic cancer. The possibility of acquiring it is higher among tobacco users, up to four times higher than those who do not consume it.

The pancreas absorbs tobacco through bile reflux; even so, many doctors agree that the relationship between tobacco and pancreatic cancer is not as close as it is with lung cancer.

2.- It is known that alcohol causes carcinogenesis in laboratory work, and together with the ingestion of fats, largely determines chronic pancreatitis with calcifications, which is closely related to cancer of the pancreas. Although there is still no absolute proof of this.

3.- Heredity is already highly associated with cancer in general. Despite this, heredity is more associated with other endocrine cancers than with this specific type.

     5.- DISCUSSION

There are diseases closely linked to pancreatic cancer such as pancreatitis, and its chronic and calcified variants. The symptoms of pancreatitis have also been found to be very similar to that of pancreatic cancer. Diabetes is also associated (by its nature) with pancreatic cancer. There are authors who associate tumor formation as a cause of diabetes.

    7.- ACKNOWLEDGMENTS:

This work was carried out with the support of the State Medical Institute, and the national association of cancerology, who supported us in the research and interviews with the hospital's medical oncologists general.
