    10 Examples of Electronic Sheets

    Examples   /   by admin   /   July 25, 2022

The electronic tokens are those that record the data of digital publications. In the modern era, they are widely used to keep a record of the information that is consulted on the internet in order to easily access it.

They also refer to the format in which they are made, since they are recorded on a digital device such as a computer or a smartphone. One of the facilities of the electronic files is that it allows elements such as the links of the consulted web pages to be accessed with a single click.

Electronic cards can also refer to other types of resources that are not necessarily textual, such as documentaries, talks, programming codes, among others.

    Characteristics of electronic tokens

    • They must have all the possible data to facilitate the location of the text that is being signed. This is important since many web pages from which the information is extracted lack basic data such as the author, the date of publication or if it is extracted from another document.

    • They are saved in an editable format. This is done to be able to modify the information if necessary with ease. It is usually avoided to save electronic records in PDF files or as an image, because if you wanted to change something you would have to create a new one.
    • Summarize the information as accurately as possible. The more specific this is, the better the record can be handled later to determine if the information is valuable.

    Elements of the electronic records

The elements in an electronic file may vary depending on the information available. In general, the ideal is to be able to have the following basic data:

    • First and last name of the author. The name of the person who wrote the article is recorded, although the medium in which it is published can also be included if there is no personal name. This is what is known as an institutional author.
    • Title. The name of the article, book, blog entry or the resource that is being cataloged in the record is recorded.
    • Editor. The name of the publisher is recorded, but it should also be noted that each resource can have different editions, whether in a magazine, on a news page, etc.
    • Electronic address. The electronic address that will be essential to be able to locate and consult the text is recorded. It is best to have the direct access address of the text.
    • Synopsis. The main ideas of the article are recorded so that whoever sees them can determine if it is the information they are looking for.
    • consultation date. Enter the day, month and year and, if available, the time the text was revised. It is important because many resources can be downloaded from the web or the sites that contain them can be closed, which would make the information that has been consulted disappear.
    • Other data. Additional information can be recorded so that the files are more nourished, such as: the number of file, personalized notes of the researcher, type of publication, number of pages, date of publication, among others. It is worth remembering that an electronic card has the advantage of not having limits, since you can add all the information you want without this damaging the available space, which does happen with the format physical.
