    Example of Conversation In English In Present Simple

    In a conversation in English in the present simple, two or more people talk about events that are currently happening and are still active, spreading in time. These may be actions that started yesterday but as long as they remain true at the moment and have not ended, they are assumed to be present. The present simple, known in English as Simple present, has rules that help to recognize its affirmative, negative and question structure.

    Conversation structure in English in the present simple affirmative

    If the conversation in English in the present simple is affirmative, the structure is used:

    Subject (name of person or noun) + verb in its infinitive form + predicate or rest of the sentence

    In English it is written:

    Name or noun + verb in infinitive form + rest of the sentence

    For example:

    I work at the marketing agency, right there.

    Translation to Spanish:

    I work at the marketing agency, right there.

    Conversation structure in English in present simple negative

    If the conversation in English in the present simple is negative, the structure is used:

    Subject (person's name or noun) + verb do / does with denier not: don´t / doesn´t + verb in its infinitive form + predicate or rest of the sentence

    In English it is written:

    Name or noun + verb do not / does not: don´t / doesn´t + verb in infinitive form + rest of the sentence

    For example:

    They don´t understand the mechanics in this game.

    Translation to Spanish:

    They don't understand the mechanics in this game.

    Conversation structure in English in present simple in question

    If the conversation in English in the present simple is affirmative, the structure is used:

    Verb do / does + subject (name of the person or noun) + verb in its infinitive form + predicate or rest of the sentence

    In English it is written:

    Verb do / does + name or noun + verb in infinitive form + rest of the question

    For example:

    Does she spend her weekends at home?

    Translation to Spanish:

    Does she spend her weekends at home?
