    Logical Semantics

    The logical semantics It is a branch of logic and semiotics that studies how a sign is related to reality, the conditions necessary for a sign to correspond to an object and the rules of significance. For instance: A cake cannot be raw and cooked at the same time.

    A language is made up of a set of signs that are used to form sentences. Statements communicate something in relation to the environment, that is, in relation to reality.

    According to logical semantics, for a statement to represent reality, it has to comply with certain truth values, that is, it must be possible to determine whether a statement is true or fake.

    In order to make this determination, the following logical principles are used:

    Logical semantics is applied in different fields, such as the philosophy of language, epistemology, mathematics, computing, and physics.
