    Language Vices

      • Stumbling (Correct: stomach)

    12. Lexical poverty. Repeatedly and abusively use the same word, when there are other more appropriate and precise ones. For example:
      • Juan said a speech very emotive. (Correct: Deliver a speech)
      • In my neighborhood they made a building enormous. (Correct: They built a building)
      • The patio has 20 square meters. (Correct: The patio is 20 square meters)
    13. Impropriety. Using words in an inappropriate way, giving them the wrong meanings.
      • The music was very strong for my taste. (High)
      • The fish tank is full of fish of colors. (Fishes)

    14. Idiom. Break with grammar rules. It may involve making up words that don't exist or making up sentences that are grammatically wrong. For example:
