    The diction vices are those mistakes that are made when the language is used in the wrong way, these can be given when speaking or writing the words incorrectly, or even using inappropriate words.

    The grammatical mistakes that are made with diction vices, make it more difficult for good communication to flow, be it oral or written, because it leads to confusion or misinterpretations.

    Examples of types of diction vices:

    Amphibology: The use of a word to which a double meaning is given, making its interpretation confusing.

    Pleonasm: Using more words than are required to express an idea.

    Cacophony: It is the repetition of phonemes, or the pronunciation of a word that when joined with another within the same sentence is annoying.

    Vulgarisms: Alteration of the semantic meaning of words.

    Fillers: These are the words that are used inappropriately so as not to leave gaps in everyday dialogues.

    Barbarisms: Pronouncing or misspelling a word or using inappropriate words.

    Idioms: Words that are typical of a certain language and that are used incorrectly in everyday language.

    Neologisms: They consist of using new words that have not yet been officially approved for use in the language.

    Solecism: This affects the grammatical rules of the sentence, making it difficult to understand.

    Queísmo: Alters the correct pronunciation when introducing the word what before any word. (common in silver, nickname for Veronica from Argentina)

    Examples of diction vices:

    • Diabetis - due to diabetes.
    • Mallugar - by bruising
    • Airport - by airport.
    • She did it for free - so she did it for free.
    • Induced - by induced.
    • Aiga - by beech.
    • Chance - by chance.
    • Show - per show.
    • Polvadera - by dust.
    • Fuerzazudo - by strongman.
    • Aujero - per hole.
    • Friendship - for friendship.
    • She looked at his face - for her she looked at his face.
    • How bad is it? - by Is it very serious?
    • Hunger - because of hunger.
